Friends always ask me... how do you know when two people are in love? Simply I fall in love with them. We spent over an hour fotographing Adiam and Yonas engagement with their precious daughter Mellena. Watching them interact with each other, you can feel their heart filled with so much love, joy, and passion. They have so much energy and live their life with full of excitement.

Beautiful Mellena.... how lucky is she to be able to witness as her daddy and mommy take each other's hand and join together for matrimony. Words can't describe the excitement and love this child has for her family. Adiam, I'm warning you she might take over the camera:)

Edu and Yirgaw, the best thing I could ever wish you both would be to have each other. It seems you already had that wrapped up a year ago on this date. Today as you celebration your 1st year anniversary of love, trust, partnership, tolerance and good memories, I simply can't express how happy I'm for you both. These two young couple with an endless love for each other joined together to tie the knot on July 18, 2009.

After working tirelessly to make this day perfect, the grooms man and brides maid were full of energy. I had to switch my batteries to keep up with these guys.

Here the bride with her beautiful smile couldn't wait to put the dress on. She was absolutly gorgeous.

Feven and Sam what can I say... you guys rock on your wedding. You had so much joy to share for a lifetime, and I'm so grateful to be a part of this day. Wishing you a continuous of this joyful life you've begun and good health.

Yirgalem and Simon - Los Angeles

Both Simon and Yirgalem was overjoyed about sharing such a happy occasion with family and friends. Everyone have been such an important part of their lives and they can not imagine getting married without their presence.

They traveled accross the sea from South Africa to Los Angeles, CA and joined together on this historic day. 31st of May, 2009

Sammy and Yirge wedding were more than a marriage between the two and the beginning of a new life friendship between their families and friends. They were an amazing couple you just can't help but fall in love with.

They were so wonderful that I can't describe in words. We were so lucky to be a part of their union, and wish them both lots of happiness, good health, and long life.

Rabia and Rovi wedding was a lot of fun to fotograph. More importantly it was flawless. Nothing makes the day more enjoyable when the bride and groom are very calm and easy going. Aside from their beauty, they were the nicest couple to work with.

Marriage Ceremony took place on Friday by Pandit Dr. Vishnu Hardowar.

Hindu Wedding Ceremony
Changed by the priest in Sanskrit verse, the prayers that compose the Hindu wedding ceremony are derived from the Vedic scriptures spiritual texts originating in India that are over four-thousand years old.

The Reception took place at Orlando Metropolitan Resort the following day. Decorated very elegantly and the food was yammi... let's just say it kept me on my feet the rest of the night.

Your wedding is a story to be told

Every detail of your wedding day is important.  Every moment is planned, yet special.  These moments gathered together is your unique story.....a story to be remembered. 

For many months up to the very last minute before the ceremony, Samuel and Zenawit worked long and hard on making this dream of theirs a reality, and with the help of family, friends and plenty of God’s grace, everything was finally set.

Friday, a day before the wedding, as many guests were starting to arrive, I met the couples who seem very calm and relaxed to my surprise.

After a lot of hard work the preparations were done and the big day had arrived. Saturday, the wedding day. notwithstanding having slept late the night before doing yet even more wedding projects, they woke up early.  Excited… since they couldn’t see each other before the Ceremony took place, the strong love that gathered them two to this day couldn’t keep them away from constantly communicating with each.

Brides have so many adored little girls in their lives that they often choose more than one flowergirl. In fact, we're now seeing groups of flowergirls including all of the bride and groom's nieces. And it's a precious scene when five or six little ones in white party dresses with the ring bearer boy in tux make their way down the aisle preceding the bride. These kids were adorable and did a great job with the candles, rings and flower petals.

Following the ceremony and formal photos at the Latter-Day, the couple joined their guests for a fairytale reception at the Temple. The highlights included a delectable dinner, a buffet of traditional antres, and the amaizing traditional coffee ceremony.

The wedding guests enjoyed a live band from Atlanta, who played a traditional Eritrean Song. The family and many friends abroad joined in on the fun as the couple danced the night away.

One of the unforgettable highlight of the night was Zenawit and Samuel slow dance to a song written and recorded by their friend (Solomon) who couldn't make it to share the joy.

Traditional ceremony the following day. After the wedding its custom for the couple to stay at home for two to three weeks while relatives provide meals.

This was a wonderful event, and it was a pleasure to be a part of it."Now that the wedding is over, the Honeymoon had begun, and the future... well It will come closer than we can assume.

Senit and Yonathan Wedding

As the temperature hit in the 90's today, I was looking forward to come home to this from work. However, once the AC cooled me off I didn't need the drink so I decide to take a picture of what I had visualize while sweating at work. I must say the feeling looking at this image is much greater than having the drink. Beside I'm not much of a drinker.

BackYard Experiment1

For the past six month I have started what I call backyard experiment photography. This weekly experiment takes place in my house or while walking my dog around the neighborhood. This usually can be a well thought out image or something I stumble upon. If you've an idea or always want to see what it would be like to see your imagination in a two dimensional image, drop me a note and I will work tirelessly to create it. I welcome all challenges. However, please be reasonable and don't ask me to photograph someone wrestling a gator. Even though I may have access to them, lets leave the adventures for national geography.

I enjoy experimenting and use my camera as a vehicle for my creation to see something in a new way; such as nature, landscape, pets, flowers, the list goes on... There is a yearning to align life purpose with creative work to make it meaningful. It is meaningful when we add to the quality of life to those around us.

I know those who knows me well will question I Samson who's a strong believer in our ways of communication not through text or email but personal phone calls has begun to blog. Well family I've come to realize as my work load doubled the past few month, It's gotten harder for me to reach all of you in your convenient time. I'm sure you'll not be thrilled receiving a phone call 1am in the morning just to keep in touch unless you live oversea. Nevertheless, as I hate to stay distant from my family, friends, and clients, I figure this way you'll have the option to find out the recent happenings in my profession and personal life.

I will always spend so much time learning and being a part of my client’s lives. So, here’s your chance. If you’d like to learn more about me, then please…read on. I have 2 warn u though, I'm not a writer so my post will have a grammar issue unless Daun or Elshi read it first:)
